I really don't think it's too early to begin thinking about fitting into your swimsuit for the summer. If you splurged during the holidays and have some weight to lose, you're going to need the next few months to work it off. Those huge, over-sized sweaters will be gone in just a few short months time. Over the course of the next few days I'm going to give you a series of tips to help slowly tackle the weight gain that has crept up. First, today weigh yourself. Then I want you to wait exactly a week and weigh yourself again. Weekly weigh-in's will hold you accountable. Try to weigh yourself each week around the same time of day. This will make your weight more accurate. Next, your goal is to eliminate high calorie coffee drinks. Do you know how many people I see on a daily basis with a Starbuck's in their hand? Even the skinny latte's aren't so skinny (just ordering a tall skinny latte is 100 calories). Not to mention, if you were drinking them were you including the fat-free milk as one of your dairy products for the day (remember you only get two per day). Trust me, I know I'm asking some of you for a huge sacrifice! Skinny latte's are one of my favorite drinks, but taking away these unnecessary calories will slowly begin to help take the inches off your waist.
